A woman in her 30s has been arrested by police after attempting to stab her daughter's 14-year-old boyfriend with a weapon. Her motive for the attack was that she believed her daughter had gone astray because of him.

Security footage shows the boy and girl sitting together in the alley when the mother, who had been watching from a distance, suddenly approach and attack the boy with a weapon. The boy, injured by a stab wound in the abdomen, attempted to flee, but the mother pursued him. Despite the daughter’s efforts to restrain her mother by grabbing her arm, the woman broke free and continued the attack.

Witnesses describe a chaotic scene, with the mother running after the injured boy even as her shoes came off. The daughter followed closely behind, trying to stop her mother.

One witness recounted the terrifying moment: “The daughter was grabbing her mother by the neck, trying to stop her, but the mother was out of control. The boy was holding his wound and walked away in pain.”

The boy collapsed shortly after, and the mother and daughter reached him. At that point, the mother attempted to turn the weapon on herself, sparking a physical struggle between her and her daughter. Police arrived at the scene and apprehended the mother before the situation escalated further.

The boy was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries and underwent surgery.

The mother, who was intoxicated during the incident, told police she had reported the boy to authorities several times, claiming that her daughter had begun acting out because of him. Frustrated by the lack of police action, she decided to take matters into her own hands.

Witnesses corroborated her statement, with one saying, “She said she had called the police four times, but they just let him go.”

The police are investigating the exact motive behind the attack and plan to request an arrest warrant for the woman.
