As of February 19, it has been confirmed that Hyomin, a former member of the popular K-pop girl group T-ara, will be holding a grand wedding at a prestigious five-star hotel.
According to an exclusive report from Sports Chosun, Hyomin will walk down the aisle on April 6 at the Dynasty Hall of the Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul.
Out of consideration for her non-celebrity fiancé, Hyomin has been preparing for her wedding in secret. The ceremony will be private and attended only by family, close relatives, and a select group of friends. Set to take place in the evening, the event is expected to be intimate and serene.
One of the key reasons behind Hyomin’s choice of venue is its top-tier security and exclusivity. The Dynasty Hall at the Shilla Hotel is a grand banquet hall that can accommodate up to 700 guests, making it a preferred destination for luxurious and private weddings. It has hosted numerous celebrity nuptials, including those of singer Se7en and actress Lee Da Hae, Olympic figure skating champion Kim Yuna, and vocalist Ko Woo Rim. Interestingly, Hyomin’s fellow T-ara member Jiyeon also held her wedding at this very location, further adding significance to the venue choice.
Currently, Hyomin is in the midst of wedding preparations, receiving an outpouring of love and well-wishes. On February 12, she expressed her gratitude on her social media, stating, "I sincerely appreciate all the blessings and support."
Born in 1989, Hyomin debuted as a member of T-ara in 2009. The group gained immense popularity with hits such as 'Roly-Poly,' 'TTL,' 'You Drive Me Crazy,' 'Sexy Love,' 'Day by Day,' 'Cry Cry,' 'Lovey-Dovey,' and 'Bo Peep Bo Peep.' In addition to her musical career, she ventured into acting with the 2010 drama 'My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho' and has pursued a successful solo career since 2014.
As the big day approaches, fans eagerly anticipate seeing Hyomin as a radiant bride in what is sure to be a stunning and elegant ceremony.
