Building on the groundbreaking success of his album '4444,' which soared to No. 6 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Chart, Woosung returns with the highly-anticipated 'Woosung 4444 Remix Project — 4444: Reborn.' This exciting collection reimagines some of the album’s most celebrated tracks, uniting a stellar lineup of globally recognized talent with genre-defining creativity.
The remix pack is headlined by Mathame with "44 (Forget Forever)," the Italian duo behind the official remix of Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding’s chart-topping hit "Free." Mathame’s signature style delivers an ethereal and immersive interpretation of Woosung’s original sound. Defying convention with their unique sound, the brothers masterfully immerse listeners in the futuristic realms they conjure, pulsating with sensorial magic and ethereal energies that complement Woosung’s style.
Joining them is KC Lights, known for his collaborations with Clean Bandit and David Guetta, who injects an infectious groove into his remix. Korean dance legend Raiden adds his dynamic flair, cementing the project’s status as a global celebration of electronic music. Additionally, the remix album features IÖN, the new DJ persona of Gyujeong Park from GroovyRoom, a renowned producer duo in South Korea.
Further elevating the collection are two remixes by Lame Impala, the electronic alter ego of Brian Lee, who co-produced and co-wrote four tracks on '4444' alongside Justin Kwon. This bundle also marks the debut of Woosung’s younger brother, AJ, whose fresh perspective adds a personal and experimental touch to the project.
Spanning eight tracks, '4444: Reborn' explores a variety of electronic subgenres, including melodic house, tech house, and funk. Each remix offers a unique interpretation of Woosung’s distinct vocals, seamlessly blending his emotive artistry with innovative production techniques. The result is a versatile and transformative listening experience that continues Woosung’s journey of musical exploration.
"The electronic music scene has always been a huge inspiration for me," shares Woosung. "'4444: Reborn' isn’t just a celebration of my album but a reflection of the incredible artists and styles that shape the genre today. It’s been amazing to see how each collaborator has brought their own vision to my music."
