On January 15, former AOA member Kwon Mina announced her career transition, revealing that she has become a cosmetic clinic consultant. 

She shared on her social media account, "I’ve had a new dream and goal that I’ve wanted to achieve for a long time. Recently, I obtained two certifications. Today, I’ve finally been able to do what I’ve always wanted by becoming a consultant at a dermatology clinic."

Kwon Mina expressed her excitement for her new role, promising personalized consultations and exceptional service for clients.

Fans congratulated her, commenting messages such as, "Congratulations," "We’ll always support you," and "Fighting!"

In 2020, Kwon Mina made headlines after alleging that she was bullied by AOA’s former leader Jimin for 10 years. The controversy led to Jimin leaving the group and retiring from the entertainment industry. However, Kwon Mina continued to share her struggles with the mental trauma she endured, garnering support and sympathy from many.

Despite this, Kwon Mina later faced controversies of her own, including incidents involving indoor smoking, cheating scandals, and accusations of mistreatment toward nurses. Additional reports surfaced claiming that she had sent harsh messages to Jimin and mistreated staff, further escalating the public’s criticism.

Although Kwon Mina previously stated that she would take time to reflect, she did not keep this promise. 

Meanwhile, Jimin returned to the public eye in 2022 through the JTBC program 'The Second World' and recently launched her own YouTube channel. Speculation grew as to whether Kwon Mina would address Jimin’s return, but Kwon Mina remained firm in her decision, stating that she would no longer mention Jimin.
