Actress Bae Doo-na shared a nostalgic story about learning to ride a bike from actor Won Bin 25 years ago and candidly expressed her thoughts on public dating.

On December 16th, Bae Doo-na appeared alongside Lee Soo-hyun from the Coupang Play series 'Family Planning' in a YouTube video on the channel 'Salty Brother Shin Dong-yup'.

During the interview, Jung Ho-chul mentioned, "I heard you learned to ride a bike from actor Won Bin." Bae Doo-na confirmed, saying, "That's true. I filmed the drama 'Madness' with Won Bin when I was 20, but at the time, I didn’t know how to ride a two-wheeled bike."

She added, "When I mentioned this to the director, he incorporated a scene where Won Bin teaches me to ride a bike. Now, I can ride well enough to commute by bike."

Bae Doo-na also addressed her perspective on public dating, saying, "While I could voluntarily disclose my relationship, I think actors should take on various roles. Having my private life overshadow my professional identity wouldn’t help me as an actress."

She elaborated, "If I were to see an article with my lover’s name attached to my title instead of just ‘Actress Bae Doo-na,’ I would feel upset."

When Shin Dong-yup jokingly asked for advice for Lee Soo-hyun, who is new to the industry, on avoiding public relationships, Bae Doo-na humorously responded, "I think it’s good to try dating without getting caught."

The conversation also touched on the idea of working with an ex-partner. When asked how she would feel about being cast in a project with an ex-lover, Bae Doo-na said, "If it happens, it happens. Acting and personal relationships are completely separate." She laughed as Shin Dong-yup jokingly remarked, "At least it’s less awkward than meeting them in public."

Later, Bae Doo-na lightened the mood by showing off her dance moves with Lee Soo-hyun, bringing laughter to the set as she danced confidently in front of the cameras.
