The trainees of the ongoing idol audition programs 'Project 7' and 'Starlight Boys' will perform a special "rival" stage at the '2024 Korea Grand Music Awards', taking place from November 16-17 at the Inspire Arena in Yeongjeong-do.
'Project 7', currently airing simultaneously on JTBC and AbemaTV, is hosted by Lee Soo Hyuk and follows the search for the top 7 trainees who will be "assembled" into the most ideal K-Pop boy group lineup.
'Starlight Boys', a competing idol audition program airing simultaneously on SBS and iQIYI, is hosted by Lee Sung Kyung and seeks 8 talented trainees who will debut in a global Chinese-Korean boy group.
The trainees of both survival programs will perform a special "rival" stage at the '2024 KGMA' on November 16 with the theme of "the creation of the galaxy". Meanwhile, the '2024 Korea Grand Music Awards', hosted by Nam Ji Hyun, NewJeans's Hanni, and aespa's Winter, will feature performers including NewJeans, Doh Kyung Soo, TVXQ, BIBI, STAYC, (G)I-DLE, Young Tak, Yoo Hwe Seung, Lee Mu Jin, Lee Young Ji, Jung Dong Won, ZEROBASEONE, QWER, Taemin, P1Harmony, NOWADAYS, NiziU, DAY6, RIIZE, Song Ga In, aespa, ATEEZ, NCT WISH, Yuqi, UNIS, Lee Chan Won, JO1, CLASS:y, TREASURE, and FIFTY FIFTY.
