A man has come forward, claiming he donated approximately 1.6 billion KRW (around $1.2 million USD) over two years to AfreecaTV BJ Se Yeon, only to be recently blocked by her.

On November 4th, an online community post titled “Update on the dedicated fan who allegedly donated 1.6 billion KRW to Seyeon” garnered attention.

According to the post, Se Yeon’s devoted fan, known as “Applepangpang,” publicly shared his grievances on October 26th. He wrote, “In my over ten years on AfreecaTV, I’ve met all kinds of strange people, but I’ve never encountered anyone like you. It’s infuriating, heart-wrenching, and deeply upsetting.”

He continued, “What did I do so wrong to you? Even when others criticized you, even when various rumors and uncomfortable truths surfaced, I stayed loyal and supported your broadcasts to the best of my ability,” indicating that he had continued to support Se Yeon through various controversies.

Referring to his recent reduction in donations, he admitted, “Didn’t send enough gifts? Fine, I admit my support dropped. I have my own personal issues and struggles, but I guess that wasn’t important to you. To you, I must have just been another source of cash, whether I was your longtime fan or managing things for you.”

He questioned, “But did you really have to treat someone like this? Is it just ‘leave when the money runs out’?” and expressed his disappointment, noting that he remained by her side despite various rumors surrounding her personal life. “I was both your dedicated fan and a committed supporter. Do you really think I didn’t understand what was happening? Everyone who watches your broadcasts, even other female BJs, knows about us. Do you really want to end things this way?”

Se Yeon, an AfreecaTV BJ and YouTuber with 320,000 subscribers, recently made headlines after being spotted with HYBE Chairman Bang Si Hyuk in Los Angeles.
