Davichi’s Kang Min Kyung mentioned her former agency CEO, Kim Kwang Soo.
A recent video on Kang Min Kyung’s YouTube channel captured Davichi preparing for their concert.
As they reminisced about their past works while organizing the concert setlist, Kang Min Kyung and Lee Hae Ri came across their project song ‘Blue Moon’, which they collaborated on with Seeya and Black Pearl. A staff member commented, “I still listen to this song,” prompting Kang Min Kyung to respond, “Really? Isn’t it a ‘hidden gem’?”
The staff also brought up ‘Wonder Woman’, a song by the project group Women’s Generation, composed of members from Davichi, Seeya, and T-ara. T-ara’s Jiyeon participated in the first album, while Hyomin and Eunjung joined for the second album.
Another staff member suggested, “You have to include ‘Wonder Woman’. That song makes my heart race. Since there will be dancers, why not add it to the performance?”
However, Lee Hae Ri pointed out, “We’ve never performed ‘My Man’ at a concert before.” Kang Min Kyung then revealed, “When ‘My Man’ was on the brink of reaching number one, the CEO told us to stop promoting.” Lee Hae Ri added, “He wanted us to focus on Women’s Generation instead,” to which Kang Min Kyung lamented, “I resent the CEO for that.”
Recently, Kim Kwang Soo appeared on MBN’s ‘GabojaGo Season 3’ and brought up T-ara’s bullying controversy. In response, Hwayoung, who had stayed silent until now, stated, “I don’t understand the intent behind making biased and distorted comments about a 12-year-old incident.” She claimed, “The bullying I experienced was real,” accusing T-ara members of verbal and physical abuse.
Hwayoung’s sister, Hyoyoung, and former member Ahreum also voiced support for her. Ahreum shared, “Even after I left the group, Hwayoung took care of me and was kind to me. I always felt grateful to her. T-ara left me with nothing but scars.”
Hwayoung further accused Kim Kwang Soo, stating, “He knew about the bullying but chose to do nothing.” Meanwhile, T-ara members have remained silent.
