BTS’s Jin and B1A4’s Sandeul reunite on ‘Run, Jin’
Jin from BTS and Sandeul from B1A4, known for their close friendship, reunited through the show ‘Run, Jin.’ The two had previously appeared together on the MBC variety show ‘Half-star Hotel in Lost Island’
On October 15th KST, a new video of ‘Run, Jin’ was released on BTS’s official channel, showing Jin and his good friend Sandeul taking on a sea fishing challenge. Sandeul was impressed by the production, remarking, “This is like a full-scale variety show. They even have a drone!”
Sandeul shared behind-the-scenes stories, saying, “Jin suddenly called me and said, ‘Let’s do a shoot.’ He didn’t tell me what it was about.” Jin humorously replied, “That’s because I don’t know either. I still don’t know what we’re doing.”
During the fishing challenge, where the one who catches a bigger fish could leave early, Sandeul seemed nervous, saying, “Isn’t this just based on luck?” Jin joked, “That’s how my content usually is. Last time, I won against Ji Suk Jin hyung, so he had to finish the shoot while I went home first. I felt a bit sorry, but that’s the nature of the content.”
While a sponsorship advertisement was featured during the shoot, Sandeul couldn’t help but be impressed, saying, “This is truly global. He’s a superstar.”
In a surprising twist, the main content turned out to be a collaboration shoot with the coast guard rather than the fishing mission. While Sandeul quickly adjusted, Jin looked confused, saying, “Weren’t we supposed to catch octopus and rockfish?”
However, they soon adapted. During a rescue training exercise, Jin and Sandeul playfully questioned the officers, asking, “Do you know BTS?” and “Do you know B1A4?” One officer replied, “I know both BTS and B1A4. I like Jin the most among BTS.” This response excited Jin and Sandeul, leading them to shout, “Save this person quickly!” making everyone, including the coast guard, burst into laughter.
