NewJeans’ Hanni comforts fans after giving testimony at the National Assembly audit.
On October 15th KST, Hanni attended the Environment and Labor Committee’s National Assembly audit as a reference witness in Yeouido, Seoul. Following her appearance, she shared her thoughts with fans on a communication platform, saying, “I am so grateful. Bunnies, you did so well. You worked so hard. Thank you so much.”
Hanni also mentioned, “I didn’t want to cry, but I couldn’t stop the tears,” referring to her emotional moment during the testimony. She emphasized her gratitude to fans once again, saying, “I’m just so thankful, really.”
During her testimony, Hanni claimed that her group had been ostracized within the company. She recounted, “I was waiting in the hallway after finishing my hair and makeup, when three other team members and a female manager walked by. I greeted them politely,” and continued, “Five to ten minutes later, they returned. The manager made eye contact with me and told the members behind her, ‘Just ignore her like you didn’t see her.’”
