In KBS 2TV’s ‘SyncroU’, Kim Tae Woo, Bada, Hwanhee, and Kangta will switch and perform each other’s hit songs.
A preview released on the 18th shows the main vocalists of first-generation idol groups—Kim Tae Woo from g.o.d, Bada from S.E.S., Hwanhee from Fly to the Sky, and Kangta from H.O.T.—covering one another’s popular songs. Kim Tae Woo will perform H.O.T.’s "Hope (빛)", Bada will sing Park Ji Yoon’s "Steal Away", Hwanhee will cover S.E.S.’s "I’m Your Girl", and Kangta will perform SechsKies’ "Couple".
As Kim Tae Woo’s cover of Hope is teased, H.O.T. member Tony An expresses curiosity, saying, “I’m really looking forward to hearing this.”
Bada brings her signature bright voice to her cover of Steal Away, while Hwanhee delivers a powerful version of "I’m Your Girl" with impressive ad-libs, causing Lee Juk to react in disbelief, asking, “Did he really add that? If so, it’s a bold move.”
The most surprising moment comes when Kangta is revealed to be covering SechsKies’ "Couple". Comedian Yoo Jae Suk is left astonished, commenting, “This is an unbelievable stage for that time,” highlighting the once-intense rivalry between the two groups. Tony An, taken aback, remarks, “Why do I find this so funny?” He also notes Kangta’s familiar ad-libs and mannerisms, confidently identifying them as characteristic of the long-time member.
Special MCs for this episode include Soobin from TOMORROW X TOGETHER, Yuri from Girls’ Generation, and Tony An. The episode will air on October 21st at 8:30 PM.
