SM’s first virtual artist ‘nævis’ to debut with single ‘Done’
On September 10th at 6 PM KST, SM Entertainment’s first virtual artist, ‘nævis’, will officially debut with her single ‘Done’, released on various music platforms. The music video for the single will also be unveiled on YouTube’s SMTOWN channel.
‘Done’ marks the symbolic beginning of nævis’ journey, as she breaks free from the constraints that have long oppressed her and embarks on a quest for freedom. According to SM Entertainment, “The intense, suspenseful atmosphere and the grand, driving synth sounds blend well with the storyline, which reflects nævis’ determination to explore a new world.”
The lyrics highlight nævis’ unique concept and her universe’s narrative, portraying her as she closes one chapter and confidently strides forward into her world without looking back. The music video is highly anticipated, as it showcases nævis arriving in the real world and embracing the freedom to explore, with visually stunning scenes capturing her journey.
Notably, nævis leverages cutting-edge technology to adapt flexibly across various platforms. She will evolve as a “flexible character,” tailored to each platform’s unique characteristics, further enhancing her presence in the virtual entertainment world.
