MAMAMOO’s Moon Byul delivers heartfelt comfort in everyday life.
On September 30th KST, Moonbyul of MAMAMOO shared a live clip of “In a Certain Day, at a Certain Time (Dear.)” from her first full-length album repackaged Starlit of Twinkle on MAMAMOO’s official YouTube channel.
The video opens with scenes of bustling subway and bus stations during rush hour. Moon Byul then appears, sitting alone on a train, singing “In a Certain Day, at a Certain Time (Dear.),” her steady yet heartfelt vocals blending with the warm lighting, reminiscent of a sunset, delivering a profound emotional resonance.
Towards the end of the video, Moonbyul takes on the role of a radio DJ, offering a message of comfort: “I hope this can be a source of solace to all the listeners who have worked tirelessly and challenged themselves today. Set aside your worries for a while and have a good night’s sleep filled with sweet dreams.” Her warm encouragement leaves a lasting impression, offering comfort to those who’ve had a hectic day.
“In a Certain Day, at a Certain Time (Dear.)” is a song that gently conveys comfort amid the busyness of daily life. Moonbyul, who participated in writing the lyrics, received praise from listeners who shared comments like, “Moonbyul’s comforting words warm my heart,” “She brings happiness through music,” and “The lyrics touch my soul deeply.”
Starlit of Twinkle is the repackaged version of Moon Byul’s first full-length album Starlit of Muse, released in February. While Starlit of Muse symbolizes the works (starlight) created by Moon Byul (the muse), Starlit of Twinkle reflects the idea that her works come together to shine brightly. With themes of summer, refreshment, healing, and comfort, Starlit of Twinkle topped the iTunes ‘Top Albums’ chart in seven countries and regions worldwide immediately after its release.
Moon Byul continues to engage with her fans by releasing live clips of songs from the album, including “Backpack” and “In a Certain Day, at a Certain Time (Dear.).”
