BLACKPINK’s Lisa all but confirms dating rumors after one year.
BLACKPINK’s Lisa has essentially acknowledged her relationship rumors after a year of speculation.
On September 29th KST, Lisa performed as one of the headliners at the Global Citizen Festival in New York’s Central Park, alongside stars like Post Malone and Doja Cat. Lisa delivered a stunning performance featuring her global hits Lalisa and Money, as well as her latest tracks Rockstar and New Woman. However, what caught the most attention was her performance of the unreleased song Moonlit Floor. The song included the lyric, “A green eyed French boy got me trippin” which quickly sparked interest.
Since July of last year, Lisa has been embroiled in dating rumors with Frédéric Arnault, the third son of Bernard Arnault, the world’s richest person and chairman of the LVMH group. Frédéric is also the CEO of a luxury watch brand. The couple has been spotted on dates in various locations, including restaurants in Paris, an airport lounge in LA, and in Bangkok, Thailand. Although neither party has confirmed nor denied the rumors, Lisa was seen vacationing with the Arnault family, leading to marriage speculations.
With the lyric seemingly referring to Frédéric Arnault, who is French and has green eyes, many believe Lisa has now effectively confirmed the relationship.
Moonlit Floor, which samples Sixpence None the Richer’s hit song Kiss Me, is set to be released on October 4th. Lisa has also been invited to perform at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, making her the first K-pop artist to do so in the event’s six-year return.
