Chun Woo Hee appointed as Seoul tourism ambassador for universal tourism.
Actress Chun Woo Hee has been appointed as the “Seoul Universal Tourism Ambassador” by the Seoul Tourism Organization.
“Universal tourism” refers to creating an accessible tourism environment that caters to everyone, including people with disabilities, the elderly, pregnant women, infants, and their companions. Chun Woo Hee will participate in various promotional campaigns over the next year to support the creation of a “Universal Tourism City Seoul.”
Chun Woo Hee became interested in disability awareness after portraying the visually impaired character “Mi So” in the 2017 film “One Day.” In 2018, she served as an ambassador for the 19th Persons with Disablities Film Festival, putting her interest into action.
As a follower of the “Seoul Danurim Tourism” Instagram account, the brand representing “Seoul Universal Tourism,” Chun Woo Hee expressed her gratitude, saying, “I am honored to serve as the Seoul Universal Tourism Ambassador, and I will support their first steps to make Seoul a city that is enjoyable and accessible for everyone.”
Celebrating her 20th anniversary since debuting this year, Chun Woo Hee has led back-to-back global successes with JTBC’s “I’m Not a Hero” and Netflix’s “The Eight Show.” She is currently filming the drama “My Youth” (working title).
