Girls’ Generation’s Yuri lends voice to public service campaign.
Girls’ Generation member and actress Yuri has extended her positive influence by narrating a public service campaign.
Holt Children’s Services (President Shin Mi Sook) announced on September 25th KST that Yuri participated in the social contribution campaign “280 Days, Protecting the Baby” by providing the narration.
The 280 days spent carrying a baby can be a time of eager anticipation for some, but for others, it is a period filled with fear as they hide their pregnancy due to family rejection and societal judgment.
Yuri stated, “Mothers who protect their babies despite difficult circumstances deserve respect and warm encouragement. I’m honored to participate as the narrator for a public service campaign supporting mothers and babies in crisis.”
Holt Children’s Services is conducting the “280 Days, Protecting the Baby” campaign to support pregnant women and infants in crisis, especially in light of Korea’s low birth rate and discussions around implementing birth notification and safe delivery systems. The donations collected through the campaign will be used for prenatal care, delivery costs, housing, and baby supplies to help ensure the safe birth and care of these infants.
Meanwhile, Yuri, who has been actively working in various fields such as variety shows, dramas, and films, is set to appear as a detective in tvN’s upcoming drama “Parole Examiner Lee Han Shin” airing later this year.
