Stray Kids’ Felix takes on J.Y. Park’s signature style.
On August 13 KST, KBS released a teaser video for its large-scale performance project, "KBS Grand Plan - 30th Anniversary Special: Ddanddara JYP," via KBS 2TV and the KBS Kpop YouTube channel.
The video features Stray Kids’ Felix, showcasing his striking visuals. Felix plays J.Y. Park’s debut song "Don't Leave Me" on a CD player, listening to the track with wired earphones, singing along, and even performing the signature dance moves. Notably, Felix, who was born in 2000, brought a trendy twist to the 1994 song, which was released before he was born, offering a fresh and unique experience.
This teaser is part of a project that honors J.Y. Park, the head artist of JYP Entertainment, as he celebrates his 30th debut anniversary. The project aims to respect and share the pride of South Korea’s leading artists, with participation from label artists who eagerly joined in.
The teaser emphasizes listening to music in its highest quality, showcasing the scene of Felix enjoying the album through a CD player and wired earphones, as a nod to the traditional way of experiencing music.
Previously, NMIXX’s Jiwoo introduced J.Y. Park’s song "Still Alive," and now Stray Kids’ Felix continues to draw attention from music fans with this follow-up.
Meanwhile, "KBS Grand Plan - 30th Anniversary Special: Ddanddara JYP" will be recorded on August 30 at 7 PM KST at KBS Hall.
