SHINee's Key revisits Y2K nostalgia on 'I Live Alone'
On the August 30th episode of MBC's variety show 'I Live Alone', airing at 11:10 PM, SHINee's Key takes viewers on a journey back to the Y2K era as he rediscovers his treasured memories from the 2000s.
After a busy schedule filled with an Asia tour, Key finally gets to enjoy a rare day off. He kicks off his day with a simple meal of naengmyeon (cold noodles) topped with yeolmu kimchi, beating the summer heat with this refreshing dish.
Key is seen dragging a box filled with old music CDs into his home. These CDs include albums he bought with his allowance during his school days, his first-ever movie videotape, MR recordings from his trainee days, and nostalgic PC games. Key shares that he used to buy albums to support his favorite artists, and just seeing these CDs brought a flood of memories back to him.
In the episode, Key also opens the door to his "secret room," which has been left untouched for three years. Originally designed for enjoying a quiet drink alone, Key now plans to transform it into a retro-themed room filled with Y2K vibes and cherished memories.
The production team teased, "Tune in to the episode to see how Key's secret room will be transformed."
