On August 5, CL posted a video on her Instagram of the members all gathering to try to book tickets for their concert. The general online ticket sales for 2NE1's concert started at 8 PM on the same day.
In the video, Minzy is seen accessing the official website on her computer and repeatedly clicking the 'Book' button a minute before the ticket sales opened. Dara, who was next to her, used her phone app to try to book the concert tickets. Watching this, CL asked, "Are you practicing?" to which Minzy replied, "I'm warming up right now," showing her determination.
When the ticket sales opened, and the 'Book' button was activated, Minzy and Dara tried hard to secure their seats. However, it wasn't easy. The two lamented, "Why can't we click 'Book'? What's wrong? I selected the date, but it doesn't work."
In the end, Minzy sighed and said, "It's already ruined. No remaining seats? There can't be no remaining seats." CL, unable to believe the situation, asked, "Isn't the computer strange?"
The final result was a failure. Minzy captured the internet window showing a temporary error due to over 400,000 people in the queue and server issues, saying, "Ha. Failed to book tickets."
2NE1 will hold the '2024 2NE1 CONCERT [WELCOME BACK] IN SEOUL' at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul, on October 5 and 6. This concert is approximately 10 years and 6 months since their last concert '[ALL OR NOTHING] in SEOUL' in March 2014.
The collaboration with Yang Hyun Suk, the general producer, is also expected to produce exceptional synergy. Previously, general producer Yang Hyun Suk had announced full support for 2NE1's comeback. YG Entertainment stated, "This year is a monumental year marking their 15th debut anniversary, and with their dramatic reunion, there was a strong determination to start their performances within this year. Although performances have been confirmed for the World Hall in Kobe, Japan, at the end of November, and the Ariake Arena in Tokyo at the beginning of December, the members' opinions to open in Korea first were actively reflected."
