On the 23rd, KBS Cool FM's 'Park Myung Soo's Radio Show' featured a segment called '11 O'clock My Hometown,' where they had a phone interview with Super Junior's Shindong.
Shindong, who recently returned with the digital single 'Showtime' along with Super Junior, joked, "As the number of members decreases, my part in the songs increases. So, I'm working hard on managing my health."
Park Myung Soo asked, "What is Shindong's position within SM?" Shindong responded, "Actually, artists are in a contractual relationship, so we don't really have a position per se. But since we moved to Kwangya Seongsu-dong and the building got bigger, I think we might have contributed to at least the first and second floors," drawing attention with his humor.
Regarding the secret to Super Junior's longevity, Shindong reflected, "As many people know, we fought a lot. After fighting so much, it became easier to understand each other. It's like we've learned to accept our differences."
He added, "Honestly, the biggest reason is probably because the company made good contracts for us." Park Myung Soo analyzed, "You're attributing everything to the company." Shindong then expressed his loyalty, saying, "I need to stay here."
Park Myung Soo pointed out, "As you mentioned, the number of Super Junior members is decreasing. What if only Shindong is left?" Shindong humorously replied, "Then I should go solo. Wouldn't 'Shindong Solo' go well with the name Super Junior?" eliciting laughter.
His singing has improved a lot over the years.
