U-KISS is set to release their 13th mini-album 'LET'S GET STARTED' on various music platforms on the 25th. This new release comes approximately a year after their 15th anniversary album 'PLAY LIST' and marks a new beginning for the group.
Ahead of the album release, UKISS has pre-released tracks 'Morse Code' and 'Beautiful You Are,' both showcasing a lively and refreshing charm, raising anticipation for their comeback. Here are three reasons to look forward to their new album:
● Endless Musical Exploration: Power of the 2nd Generation Boy Group
With 'LET'S GET STARTED,' UKISS continues their relentless musical exploration and ambition to move forward. The new album features five tracks, including the title track 'Stay with Me,' which boasts a refreshing rock sound, as well as pop ballads and techno-pop, demonstrating UKISS's expanded musical range. The five members plan to showcase the enduring power of the '2nd generation representative boy group' with their well-honed team chemistry.
● Generational Connection: Recreating the 'Man Man Ha Ni' Syndrome
The title track 'Stay with Me' captures the conflicting emotions of someone struggling with unrequited love, resonating with many listeners. The new album also includes a trendy reinterpretation of their 2009 mega-hit 'Man Man Ha Ni' (2024 Ver.). The original song's strong appeal to all generations raises expectations that UKISS might recreate its syndromic popularity with the new version.
● Solo Concerts in Korea and Japan: Sustaining the 'Original Hallyu Idols' Reputation
To commemorate the new album release, UKISS will continue their 'original Hallyu idols' journey with concerts in both Korea and Japan. They will hold their first fan concert '2024 UKISS FAN CONCERT 'First Memories'' in Seoul on June 29th and a solo concert '2024 UKISS LIVE TOUR IN JAPAN More & More' in three Japanese cities in July. With a rich setlist that spans their group's history, they aim to connect with fans domestically and internationally. Notably, this will be UKISS's first fan concert in Korea in their 16-year career, making it a meaningful event for both the group and their fans.
UKISS was pretty popular back then until the company suddenly change 2 members without any notifications or warnings, be it to the fans or even the members themselves. after that there was many changes in the lineup again when they try to keep surviving the industry. so it's good to see some of the original members again with the newer one and that they're having a concert, finally. but it's a pity Lee Junyoung can't join again because i love his singing voice.. but he's too busy as an actor now, so.... ah well, everyone has their own path to take..
