According to a tweet that went viral, after the offensive remarks were captured on video, Bang Chan appeared to calmly assess the situation before signaling to his members to follow him up the stairs, distancing themselves from the negative environment.Although it's unclear if Bang Chan directly heard the comments, his quick and composed response has earned him praise from fans.
Online discussions have commended his leadership, contrasting his dignified behavior with the unprofessional conduct of the journalists involved.
In my opinion, a Kpop group like Stray Kids just isn't made for something like the met gala. When you're sending an entire group, it's more difficult to get the looks right because companies often try to coordinate their outfits to each other and make it look "clean" but since this is the met gala, people are actually expecting sort of "outlandish" looks. I feel like idols like CL, GD, Taemin, Key, Jo Kwon, Sunmi etc. would have done a better job, no offense. Also, paparazzi aren't exactly known for being nice lmao so I wouldn't take it personally.
