Yuqi, a member of (G)I-DLE, has officially signaled the start of her solo venture. On April 23, a fan showcase commemorating the release of Yuqi's debut mini album 'YUQ1' took place in Seoul. Simultaneously, she connected with fans worldwide through her official YouTube channel.

During the showcase, Yuqi mesmerized the audience with performances of tracks from her mini album. Fellow (G)I-DLE member Minnie made a surprise appearance as the MC, adding to the excitement of the event.

Yuqi shared behind-the-scenes stories about her album, engaging fans with anecdotes and insights. A special segment allowed her to interact with fans globally through simultaneous online and live broadcasts.

Closing the showcase with a heartfelt performance alongside Minnie, Yuqi expressed her gratitude and aspirations for her solo journey. She remarked, "I never imagined I would release a solo album like this. I have prepared an album staying true to me, so I will work positively and convey my warm heart like a little sun."

After the successful showcase, Yuqi will kick off her solo activities with an appearance on Mnet's 'M Countdown', scheduled to air at 6 PM on April 25. Fans eagerly anticipate her upcoming performances and solo endeavors following six years since (G)I-DLE's debut.
