Last year, former Super Junior member Kangin revealed his plans to resume activities in the future and shared that he had renewed his contract with SM Entertainment.
In his previous update, Kangin revealed why he decided to leave Super Junior and shared, "I kept clarifying and it was even reported that I had nothing to do with it. But people don't remember that part. Also, people believed in unfounded rumors about things I didn't do, continually associating these falsehoods with the name 'Super Junior.' I found it unacceptable to let this continue, so, for the sake of the group's reputation, I decided to leave."
Back in June 2023, Kangin gave an update through the YouTube channel 'Others' Lives' and explained that he would be giving fans consistent updates through YouTube.
Just as he revealed his plans, Kangin opened his own YouTube channel and has been uploading solo camping videos.
Many K-netizens reacted to Kangin's latest activities and left comments in a popular online community. They commented, "Good for him. Have a good life," "It's fascinating how he resigned with SM," "I see," "I used to like him a long time ago. So I watched his YouTube videos just now, but I don't really have any feelings towards him now. It was just nice to see him," "I guess if you're a former K-pop idol, it's easy to earn money right away," and "I guess he had a lot saved up."
His camping videos are nice and peaceful. It's clear he's in a good place.
