On an online forum, netizens discussed the NewJeans member's recent V-log that transported fans back to the Y2K era. Netizens couldn't help but notice that Hyein effortlessly channels the look and feel of the early 2000s. 

They playfully speculated that this V-log "couldn't possibly belong to the year 2023," as it featured Hyein and her grandmother's home, exuding an unmistakable atmosphere reminiscent of early 2000s Korea.

One detail that caught the netizens' eyes was Hyein's actual eyeglasses, worn out of necessity for her vision. Some pointed out that with a dip in video quality, the entire footage could easily pass for a nostalgic throwback.

The original poster wrote: "It's almost like stumbling upon a self-cam video of an actress straight out of 2002."
