Seo Ye Ji's label Gold Medalist has responded to the official ruling of the compensation lawsuit from the actress' former brand sponsorship.
On November 16, reports revealed the Seoul Central District Court ruled in favor of the former brand sponsor Yuhan Care in the amount of 225 million Won ($173,943.99 USD). The brand filed a lawsuit against Seo Ye Ji following her controversies for allegedly school bullying and gaslighting her ex-boyfriend as they claimed to have suffered losses. Though Seo Ye Ji is not personally responsible to pay the losses, her label has been ordered to pay the sponsor as the actress' contract with the brand explicitly states endorsement models should not engage in acts that harm their reputation.
Yuhan Care previously paid Seo Ye Ji 450 million Won ($347,695.83 USD) to act as the brand's endorsement model, and they initially demanded 1.275 billion Won ($986,453.86 USD) in compensation. However, the contract included a clause that stated, "If the advertisement is canceled after the endorsement model fee has been paid, 50% of the fee should be refunded," so the court awarded Yuhan Care 225 million Won.
Seo Ye Ji's label Gold Medalist stated, "On November 10, Gold Medalist and Seo Ye Ji confirmed the allegations made against her in the lawsuit by Yuhan Care involving school bullying and more were unproven. However, due to the loss of trust from the advertiser resulting from the allegations, we were required to partially refund the model fees in accordance with the contract. We'd like to emphasize the suspicions against Seo Ye Ji are not true, and considering the legal resolution of the situation, we ask for your understanding in refraining from groundless accusations and criticism against her."
As previously reported, Seo Ye Ji was embroiled in suspicions of gaslighting against her then-ex-boyfriend, actor Kim Jung Hyun, in addition to allegedly being a school bully, forging academic documents, and abusing her power against staff. She admitted to breaking up with Kim Jung Hyun after dating him, but denied allegations of gas lighting, school violence, and falsification of academic records.

She won a case where another company sued her for disrupting the business, not that the accusations were false
She IS an abuser and controller, and this was proven not only by the evidence of the accusations but also by the way she and her company responded to everything
One thing that no one talks about is female privilege when the woman is the abuser
