ARTMS have announced the release of "The Carol 3.0", which will be released on December 1, 2023. The song will feature members HeeJin, HaSeul, Kim Lip, JinSoul and Choerry. This will be the second remake of the original song titled "The Carol", released by LOO
Back in 2016, LOONA member HaSeul made her solo debut under LOONA with her Single Album titled "HaSeul" on December 15. The B-Side to her single album was titled "The Carol" which is a Christmas ballad that featured members HeeJin and HyunJin.
The following year, LOONA did a remake of the song titled "The Carol 2.0" featuring members ViVi, Choerry and Yves. This remake was released almost exactly a year after "The Carol" on December 13.

The release of "The Carol 3.0" is almost 6 years after "The Carol 2.0" and almost 7 years after "The Carol". HeeJin, HaSeul and Choerry will be featured in the remake for the second time while Kim Lip and JinSoul will be featured for the first time.
ARTMS Junior group, tripleS, has announced a Ballad Unit, that aims to debut in December/January with a similar concept.
In other LOONA news, BBC has filed a countersuit against Chuu's mother for false accusations, after Chuu's mother sued Blockberry Creative's CEO back in January, claiming that the agency spread false information during Chuu's contract dispute at the time according to a media outlet.
