There are so many amazing K-dramas out there. I bet every reader has that one show that we can never forget. The emotions we felt while watching that particular show were simply something else. Do you also have such a drama that you wish you could completely forget, erase from your memory, only to be able to watch it for the first time again?
Imagine being able to feel those emotions, feel the rush and the happiness all over again. While it must be a different show for all of us, here are some of the K-dramas that many fans wish they could watch for the first time again.
Crash Landing On You
A list like this is incomplete without CLOY on it. Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin surely became the top couple for many of us. We all were rooting for them, as well as the second lead couple. A paragliding mishap drops a South Korean heiress in North Korea, and it all begins as an army officer decides to help her. I wish I could forget this and start again.
Descendants Of The Sun
The story of a South Korean Special Forces soldier and a surgeon’s life might sound like a simple plot, but it is something that brings back so many memories. Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo, the lead couple, had the best chemistry imaginable. They made us feel the happiness and the pain in their complex relationship.
Goblin (Guardian: The Lonely and Great God)
How amazing would it be to be able to laugh and giggle seeing Goblin and Grim Reaper bicker with each other? The fantasy romantic drama tells the story of Kim Shin, a military general from the Goryeo Dynasty, and his punishment and freedom from immortality through Goblin’s Bride. The show made us laugh, cry, and also feel pain.
Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo
Another classic K-drama that brought many into the world of Korean shows. It gave an unforgettable experience to all, filled with tragedy and complexity but also love and heartfelt emotions. The chemistry between IU and Lee Joon Gi is just beautiful. The show took its time building, and that’s what made it amazing.
It's Okay to Not Be Okay
I would describe this drama as painful but beautiful. The emotions that it managed to evoke in the viewers were something else. The way fairytale was incorporated into the story to show the characters better and in a unique way was an amazing idea. The drama dealt with some heavy topics such as mental health, love and healing.
This is something that can be different for each one of us. Which show is it for you? The one you want to watch for the first time again?
Healer or W: Two Worlds would be my qish for this - I love those so much that I wish I could relive seeing them for the first time again
