An internet user recently expressed discontent about alleged negligence by HYBE, the agency home to popular artists such as BTS, TXT, LE SSERAFIM, and more.
On August 28, a post with the title "This is not right, HYBE" was published on the online popular community Nate Pann.
The post's creator wrote, "About a month ago, LE SSERAFIM, who lived in our complex, moved out. Right after they moved, their old furniture was piled up in the recycling area."
The poster continued by sharing, "I thought they would put (pre-paid disposal) stickers and take it away soon, but it's been a little over a month (not exact), and it's still there. So I called the management office, and they already knew about it."
They further mentioned, "(The management office) called HYBE, but they said the person in charge is on a business trip overseas and won't be able to handle it until they return. That was ten days ago." The netizen further expressed their frustration, saying, "The cost for the pre-paid disposal stickers is only around 50,000 to 60,000 KRW (37.73~45.27 USD), and in some cases may reach 70,000 KRW (~50.82 USD). I don't understand why they're not handling this."
Still, the poster acknowledged, "Of course, it's not LE SSERAFIM's fault," and added, "It's the people working at the company who are not doing their job. They only put the pre-paid stickers on the bed headboard..."
The netizen also shared pictures of discarded furniture on the roadside on their post. The photos showed abandoned furniture, including bed headboards and cabinets, left unattended.
The poster pleaded, "HYBE, please take care of it quickly. It's too messy and an eyesore," and emphasized, "Also, someone got injured in the dark while recycling because of the furniture trash. This is not acceptable."
Meanwhile, although the post has been deleted, it is spreading on various online communities and social networking services.
Upon seeing this, netizens expressed their disappointment with the handling of the situation, saying, "If this is true, HYBE's administrative office should pay more attention, and they should realize that each of these things has a significant impact on the artist's image," "This is really damaging the artist's image," and "This is something that could have been handled by sending just one employee."
