However, in recent years, DEAN seemed to have vanished from the limelight, leaving fans curious about his whereabouts and what happened to him.

One fan started a discussion in a popular Korean online community where they listed out DEAN's discography and his achievements before expressing their curiosity as to what happened to the artist in the music scene.

The fan explained, "He debuted 9 years ago but doesn't have a studio album yet, and since 2020, he's been only featuring in other artists' songs for 3 years. The last time he appeared on a TV broadcast was in 2017. He doesn't even have a mandatory military hiatus." The fan added, "To summarize, he doesn't have any announcements about albums, doesn't come out on broadcasts, and doesn't even have concerts."
