Known for her countless roles as a mother, actress Kim Hee Jung revealed that she is unmarried.
On the March 12 broadcast of KBS2's variety show 'Problem Child in House,' actresses Park Jin Hee and Kim Hee Jung appeared as special guests.
During the episode, Kim Sook asked Kim Hee Jung, "How long have you been married?" to which she replied, "I'm not," clarifying that she is single and has never married.
The hosts were surprised, prompting Kim Sook to explain, "I thought you were married because you play mother roles so well." Kim Hee Jung laughed and commented, "I've just played so many mom roles."
The actress went on to share why people often assume she is married and shared, "I live with my niece and nephew." She continued, "When I go out wearing a hat with my nephew, people think he's my husband. When I go out with my niece, they think she's my daughter."
She further shared, "My brother passed away at a young age and left his two children behind. They are ten years apart," explaining why people misunderstand the relationship between the three. Kim Hee Jung also added, "My nephew actually got married."
Born in 1970, the 55-year-old actress is a veteran performer who has now entered her 35th year since her debut. She has been known for her roles in dramas including 'Sweet Home,' 'Start-Up,' 'Work Later, Drink Now,' 'Beauty Inside,' and more.
