Netflix has confirmed the release date of 'Siren: Survive the Island', a team battle survival entertainment show of strong women.
Twenty-four women equipped with both the strongest combat power and meticulous strategy will team up into 6 occupational groups and meet viewers around the world through Netflix on May 30 KST.
From police officers, firefighters, bodyguards, stuntmen, soldiers, and athletes, team logos show the personality of each team and help to perhaps predict strategies and professional team confrontations that incorporate the characteristics of each occupational group.
In addition, the show will feature various types of bases, such as mountain huts, floating houses, and tents, and public spaces, such as drinking fountains and hospitals, where the contestants are expected to be self-sufficient for 7 days and 6 nights on the isolated island.
The 24 women who have been recognized for their strength in their respective fields plan to work their way to victory through strong teamwork and deliver impressions and lingering emotions to viewers. The show will present extreme limit situations in which one can survive only by mobilizing all one's abilities, such as physical strength, strategic skills, and mental power, and various variables that will be sure to attract viewers with the unique charm of team battle survival.
The show will be divided into the first half and the second half with a total of 10 episodes released over two weeks.
'Siren: Survive the Island' will be released on Netflix on May 30 KST.
I feel that's the wrong title for this series, Sirens sat on rocks and lured sailors to their deaths, they were all about allure, attraction and hypnotic song.

Amazons would be far more appropriate for a series about physical strength and survival skills.
