On May 30, 2023, Stray Kids posted the second teaser of "S-Class," the title track of their 3rd full album, '★★★★★ (5-STAR)'. It immediately became trending on social media, and many netizens have already declared it "SOTY" (Song Of The Year). Here are a few reasons why "S-Class" is going to be a hit:

1. It is super catchy

The song's instrumental had been used in the comeback trailers. However, most people failed to guess that it was the album's title track, not just a random tune. The beat is lively and highly addicting. It is also surprising how the song is repetitive without being boring. Take Hyunjin's "별의 별의 별의 별의 별의 별의 별의 별닌 놈 That's me" ("The most special star, star, star, star, star, strar, star, the odd one, that's me") for example. None can deny that this part has been stuck in their mind since they listened to it!

2. The music video is literally an action film

In the first teaser of the music video, Stray Kids can be seen standing among police officers and men in black cloaks, that run in various directions. At some point, the police officers open fire, but their target is, for the time being, unknown to us.

3. The production of the music video was huge

If you are not a STAY, that is, a fan of Stray Kids, you won't remember it, but a few months ago, a clip went viral on social media, showing blue spotlights placed around river Han in Seoul and a platform in the water. STAYs immediately suspected that it had something to do with Stray Kids' comeback, but this claim wasn't verified until now, when the spotlights and the platform are visible in the teaser. 

4. Just look at the choreo!

The song's choreography has been another topic that has grabbed the attention of K-pop fans. It matches the rhythm perfectly and looks astonishing. I can't wait to see the group performing it on stage!

5. There are references to their past top songs

Fans were quick to pinpoint a few similarities between the music video of "S-Class" and the old music video of Stray Kids. For instance, the cooks from "God's Menu" and the bukcheong lion mask from "Thunerous":
