BTS member Jimin proved his global popularity as his solo album achieves a huge milestone!
On March 23 KST, Jimin released his long-awaited solo album 'FACE,' which features the title track "Like Crazy." On the same day, the physical album was released, and according to the Hanteo chart, it accumulated a whopping 1 million copies sold on the first day of its release, setting a new impressive record among Korean solo acts.
With this, Jimin has become the first-ever male soloist to have an album surpassing 1 million sales just on the first day of release in Hanteo history. The record was previously held by Lim Young Woong's 'IM HERO,' which had around 940,000 first-day sales.
The BTS member's 1st solo album 'FACE', now available for streaming worldwide, contains a total of 5 tracks including "Set Me Free Pt.2", "Like Crazy", "Face-off", "Interlude : Dive", and "Alone". The title trackwas inspired by the 2011 romance film of the same name and utilizes lines from the film to enhance emotional delivery.
