Yang Hyun Suk continues to deny he tried to cover up B.I's drug allegations.

On November 1, Yang Hyun Suk and others stood trial for threatening at the 23rd Criminal Agreement Division of the Seoul Central District Court. According to the prosecution, the former YG Entertainment head threatened former singer trainee 'A' after they informed police about B.I's alleged drug use.

Yang Hyun Suk allegedly told 'A', "I can see everything you say in the investigation," "It would be easy to kill someone like you in the entertainment word," "If you take back your statement to the police, I'll give you a reward and appoint a lawyer for you," and more.

He refuted the claims, stating, "Most of the stories are not true. I told them to be a good kid, and I meant that they shouldn't do drugs and told them out of worry. Half the time was spent comforting and listening to them." Yang Hyun Suk further stressed he never threatened 'A', saying, "There's no possibility that those words were said."

Yang Hyun Suk stands accused of attempting to coerce and threaten 'A', who reported B.I to the police for alleged drug use, to take back their statement to police. 'A' then confirmed their statement to police and later claimed Yang Hyun Suk had threatened them.
