Lim Soo Hyang wrote a heartfelt letter to late co-star Lee Ji Han.
On October 30, Lee Ji Han's label 935 Entertainment confirmed the actor was a victim of the recent tragedy in Itaewon. Lim Soo Hyang and Lee Ji Han are both starring in the upcoming drama 'Kkokdu's Gye-jeol', and the actress took to Instagram to share her feelings and mourn her co-star. She wrote:
"Ji Han, you have to be in a better place.
Yesterday, I was supposed to film the entire day with you, but hearing the news, we all gathered at your wake. No one could say anything for quite a while, and we just sat there in a daze. I felt so cold, sad, and miserable because you were taken away so soon. You were just starting, and I knew so well how hard you worked and how you wanted to do a good job. Your parents held my hands and told me you went home and bragged to them happily how I praised you for doing a good job. I think I cried for a long time because I was sorry I didn't take care of you more and that it was a shame I didn't say one more nice thing or words of encouragement.
I'm so hurt to let my colleague go first. The team and I will all work harder for your share while thinking of you, so you can be proud from where you are. I hope you'll be at peace now. To those who became stars through this Itaewon tragedy, may you all rest in peace."
I cried reading what she wrote. These words really touched my heart.
