BAE173 member Dohyon will be taking a brief hiatus from activities in order to focus on his complete recuperation from COVID-19.
Earlier this week on October 6, PocketDol Studio announced via BAE173's official fan cafe,
"We apologize for delivering such sudden news to fans. We would like to notify you regarding BAE173 member Dohyon's hiatus.
Recently, Dohyon experienced a decline in health due to various long-term effects of COVID-19, and the idol expressed difficulties in carrying out his schedules. Thus, after a thorough discussion with Dohyon himself as well as with the members of BAE173, it was decided that Dohyon would take a hiatus so that he can focus on his complete recovery.
As a result, Dohyon will be absent from BAE173's schedules temporarily, and the group will continue to promote as 8-members.
Please understand that this decision was reached with the artist's health being considered as the top priority. Once again, we apologize for causing fans concerns with the sudden news, and we promise to do all that we can for the artist's speedy recovery.
Thank you."
Meanwhile, BAE173 most recently released their 4th mini album 'ODYSSEY:DaSH' in August of this year, and carried out active promotions for their title track, "DaSH".
I hope for his speedy recovery!🙏
