On August 12, the final episode of the reality series 'In The SOOP: Friendcation' was released on Disney+ and aired on JTBC.
'In The SOOP: Friendcation' is a four-episode travel show featuring the 'Wooga Squad' members Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS, actors Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Shik, Park Hyung Sik, and singer-producer Peakboy. The five men go on a vacation in Gangwon-do Province and offer the viewers more insight into the special friendship they've shared for nearly a decade.
In the episode, Taehyung shared his experience with Seojoon that sparked their friendship in 2016 when he starred in 'Hwarang.' As the least experienced actor on the set, Taehyung struggled with his role and was clueless about how to effectively express his emotions on screen. He approached senior actor Seojoon for advice, who went above and beyond to help him.
"Taehyung: Because it was my first time, I felt totally lost. When I told him that, he helped me find the right emotion for each scene and recorded all of that in a voice memo."
"Park Seo Joon: What I was thankful for V was that he knew that he was lacking, so he kept asking me. I have never met someone like that and I could really feel that he wanted to do a good job, so I just wanted to help him."
Given their hectic schedules, it is unlikely that the 'Wooga Squad' will be able to travel again together as a complete group any time soon. Although all good things must come to an end, the short trip was an experience that the five friends are sure to cherish for a long time.
Wooga squad friendship is so precious and endearing. They are so close knitted and they helped out each other which is so touching. I love watching them In The Soop and this program brings a lot of laughter and healing.
