Rolling Stone Korea recently released an article about the global group and angered BLACKPINK fans after writing that Jisoo does not have an outstanding talent in the group. The magazine article writer wrote, "Although she does not possess the most outstanding talent in the group as a vocalist or dancer, her growth is more apparent." The magazine meant to praise the girl group member and wanted to show the growth which Jisoo had shown over the years, but instead, compared her to the other members and undermined Jisoo's overall talent.
Therefore many BLACKPINK fans banned together to take their anger to social media, such as Twitter, in hopes their voices can be heard by Rolling Stone Korea. Many fans demanded that the magazine apologizes to Jisoo for releasing such a tasteless phrase.
Fans are continuing to show their support to Jisoo on various social media platforms and leaving comments expressing their anger.
They're probably comparing her to the rest of her band mate and she's probably not the best vocalist nor dancer in her team, they worded this poorly but the meaning might not be different.

I really like Jisoo. But to be objective, she isn't admittedly that strong of a dancer. And she isn't that technically strong of a singer either. But what's great about her is that, as the article states, her growth is much more apparent. Like really apparent to the point I applaud her for it because over the course of their comebacks, she has improved immensely regarding her dancing and singing skills. Meaning she has worked hard to improve in areas she isn't strong at and that shows. And if you are really passionate about your craft as an artist, her hunger to improve is admirable. Not being a strong dancer or singer doesn't make her the least talented; her strengths just lie elsewhere. Like acting for example and for sure she can continuously grow and improve as an actress too.
If anything this makes me proud of her because it shows her desire to become better. And that's something we should all aspire for in every aspect of our lives.
