SM Entertainment denied a demo for aespa's new track was leaked.
An audio clip allegedly of aespa's upcoming English release "Girls" was posted on online communities, and commenters claimed producer Yoo Young Jin took part in composing the song. On June 14, SM Entertainment denied the rumors, responding, "The demo in question is not aespa's new song."
In other news, aespa will be pre-releasing their English track "Life's Too Short" on June 24 before releasing their second mini-album '"Girls" on July 8.

I never understood the process of people trying to leak songs or demos of song before the official release. Like I know some fans are just eager to hear the newest songs but what's the point of listening to it early? It doesn't help the artists who worked hard on it since it takes away a bit of their surprise element since people have heard it already. Plus it can hurt their streams and charting since people "have already heard it" and may not check it out again once its released.
