JTBC drama 'Thirty-Nine' is set to go on hiatus.
On March 4, JTBC announced the drama series starring Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, and Kim Ji Hyun will not be airing next week due to the South Korean presidential election. Instead, the network will be airing a special broadcast featuring footage from episodes 1 to 6.
'Thirty-Nine' is also currently receiving criticism for allegedly romanticizing extramarital affairs. Netizens are currently blaming the writers, stating, "The actors are too good for this. It's a pity," "Isn't it crazy that they let this air," It's so displeasing," "I'm doubting the writer's thoughts," and more.
'Thirty-Nine' will return to its regular programming with episode 7 on March 16 at 10:30 PM KST.

Such a misleading title. Show is on hiatus due to election campaign and only for one week. Looking for scandal were there is none? Not surprising to have certain % of negative comments in the country were misogyny is not a problem and where feminism is a curse word. I am convinced that these comments are from carefully selected 1 or 2% of comments. Show is doing well, like really well.
