Jimin’s “Promise” remains to be the most streamed Korean and second overall song on SoundCloud with over 260 million streams

Jimin continued to break his own records with his self-composed song “Promise” released on SoundCloud on December 31, 2018. More than 2 years after its release, “Promise” remains to be the second most streamed song on SoundCloud, the world’s largest music and audio streaming platform with more than 200 million tracks available.
On February 22, “Promise” has amassed more than 260 million plays on SoundCloud. It then extended its record as the most streamed Korean song while second overall most streamed song on the platform.
“Promise” is composed by Jimin with the help of BTS’s RM and produced by Slow Rabbit. This mellow song is a gentle and healing song which highlights Jimin’s evocative singing. While listening to it, one can feel the comfort of the song’s message perfectly accompanied with the acoustic guitar.
As such, the song has drawn the attention of the listeners both fans and the general listening public. Since its surprising release, the song has made and had broken so many records including the Biggest Debut on SoundCloud History with 8.5 million plays and SoundCloud’s “Buzziest Drop” 0f 2019.
Jimin has been dubbed by media as the “King of SoundCloud” which Jimin earned with all the achievements his songs including his latest “Christmas Love” on SoundCloud.
