This solo idol surprised fans after her recent ig story.

Last week on January 15, Kriesha Chu had topped real-time search charts in Korea. She ranked #1 on websites including Naver and Daum the entire day after appearing at a press conference for her newest webdrama "Living With Ghosts" along with BerryGood Sehyung, Rainz Eunki, & OhMyGirl Binnie.

Netizens were surprised to see her changed appearance & immediately rumours that the idol had plastic surgery done spread quickly online.

Her company UrbanWorks Ent. released an announcement that day that Kriesha was actually suffering from lymphedema(a condition that causes swollen face/body parts) and that she is taking medication everyday as well as getting treatment at the hospital. They state that it seems that her preparations for her future activites in China & a new album in February has stressed her out so much that it went to her health. They also stated that Kriesha was downhearted that in a situation like this, she is getting attention for something else rather the webdrama itself.

Fans argue that the idol's schedule has been fully booked since september filled with 2 webdrama filmings(as the main characters), tv show hosting, radio dj-ing, a new youtube series, music video featuring, performances at big events, several song covers, dance covers, and 6 new OSTs in just the matter of a few months. And that it makes sense that she could have overworked herself and that there would not have been any time in between to have plastic surgery done.

Kriesha had been active on her instagram account recently but after articles of plastic surgery had spread, she had been quiet, although her company had continued uploading video contents on her official youtube channel. Her fans have been worried and have been sending messages of support on all her SNS platforms and even started the hashtag #GetWellSoonKrieshaChu

But Kriesha posted something for the first time sinced the news of her health on her instagram story on January 20. It was a teaser for singer KCM's new music video to be released on January 24. Kriesha posts because she is the main female actress in the music video, but instead it touched and worried fans. The teaser shows one whole minute of Kriesha crying with heavy tears in her eyes, and they believe those tears were true.

Kriesha has also been active on Youtube and in one of her latest videos, she takes a psychological test and she even admits she might breakdown in tears any minute because she's so stressed lately. Later in the video the Psychologist says that Kriesha has stage fright and can easily feel more empty after getting off stage compared to other singers. Kriesha bursts into tears at this moment but still tries to smile in front of the camera. Even though Kriesha has a oacked schedule daily, she hasn't made a comeback in 2 years. So fans are suspecting stage fright might be the reason it took her a while to come back with her own music.

Fans believe that during this time, Kriesha was truly having a hard time and the tears and sad emotions were all real.

But real or not, fans are hoping for the idol's good health and that she does not fall into depression or develop anxiety problems.
