BTS V released his self-composed song 'WinterBear' unexpectedly on August 9, 2019 through SoundCloud and shortly after that, his self-directed music video of the same title was uploaded in BangtanTV, Big Hit's official You Tube platform.
BTS V's unquestionable artistic flair with the dreamy visuals and melancholic tone of the music video was praised all over media and as such, has achieved its 16M views and 2.5M likes on August 25. Winter Bear became the Most Liked Solo Kpop Music Video and the 6th Most Liked Kpop Music Video of 2019, in just over 2 weeks of its release.
Three days after this milestone, Winter Bear achieved 17M views with 2.6M likes, still maintaining its position, and is now on it's way to 18M views.
WinterBear captured the hearts of many, including YouTube reactors, foreign and local media-to being featured in Good Morning America-and is predicted to rise even higher as the music video and the song, fully written in English by BTS V continue to serenade us like a lullaby and heal a million hearts.
