According to reports on April 11, former F.T. Island member Jonghun (29) has filed a lawsuit against a female 'A' for threatening.
Jonghun's legal representative told media outlets, "Two weeks ago, we submitted a lawsuit against a female who threatened [Jonghun] with false claims." Previously, one female 'A' came forward through media outlet reports to claim that Jonghun sexually assaulted her back in March of 2012 in the U.S, by drugging her with GHB. 'A' furthermore claimed that in light of Jonghun's multiple criminal charges, she decided to publicize her account in order to receive a formal apology from Jonghun.
However, Jonghun's legal representative stated on April 11, "After confirming with [Jonghun], we've learned that he did in fact meet 'A' in the U.S, but he has no recollection of assaulting her sexually. He has no idea what GHB is, and we believe that 'A' is taking advantage of [Jonghun's] current controversies to threaten him."
Meanwhile, former F.T. Island Jonghun is currently facing trials for a case of police bribery, as well as charges of filming and distributing illegal sexual content via social platforms.

Some of these translations confuse me, because they make me wonder if they are exact or somewhat misconstrued. Specifically, how do you "not recall" sexually assaulting" someone? Anyway, I could see this going both ways depending on what evidence comes forward. Considering how many people have been dragged into the light due to their transgressions, it wouldn't shock me if this was true. However, considering how much of a circus this has become, it can sometimes drag the worst out of people into the limelight. He confirmed he met her, maybe she felt jilted by him and wanted to add fuel to the fire like his people have said. If this did happen, I can only hope that she will have the proper information to get the justice she deserves. But if she's lying, even though I feel no pity for his situation, she should suffer the consequences- people who lie about assault make it that much harder for the real victims to come forward or even be taken seriously.
