F.T. Island's Minhwan and Yulhee had a debate on birthday money.
On the March 27 airing of KBS 2TV's 'Mr. House Husband 2,' the couple prepared for the birthday of Yulhee's dad.
Minhwan suggested they give him 1 million KRW (approximately 880 USD) in birthday money. Yulhee found the amount too large, and said, "There's also Father's Day, wedding anniversary, new year, and year-end holiday. It'll be a total of 4 million KRW (4,000 USD) in allowance (for our parents) if we give them 1 million KRW this time."
Minhwan continued to suggest 1 million KRW, stating, "It's his first birthday (since we've got married)." To this, Yulhee said, "So we're taking it out of your allowance then?"
Minhwan, who receives 500,000 KRW (440 USD) in monthly allowance, reacted startled and said, "But then we won't be able to buy treats for our baby..."
Ultimately, Yulhee and Minhwan came to an agreement of 500,000 KRW for her dad's birthday money.
