Fans in Indonesia are showing unchanging support for Seungri.
According to Yonhap News, on March 17, around 200 Indonesian fans gathered at Sudirman Central Business District in Jakarta to show support for Seungri, who is currently being investigated for police bribery, prostitution, and more.
The VIPs chanted Big Bang songs together with flowers, light sticks, and posters in their hands.
Originally, Seungri was scheduled to hold his solo concert at the location. However, the event has been canceled due to the ongoing scandal.
A fan of 4 years stated, "I don't believe Seungri has done such things. We have to be cautious of the exaggerated news reports." Another fan stated, "Our support for him does not mean we support prostitution. We just want this issue to be resolved fast."
Meanwhile, netizens are heavily criticizing the fans, commenting, "Are they crazy?" "Brainless.." "This is ridiculous."
