According to reports on January 11, all 4 members of Girl's Day will allegedly separate ways after the expiration of their contracts with Dream T Entertainment.
Previously, Girl's Day label confirmed that leader Sojin has decided not to renew her contract come this February, but denied that the group would disband. Industry insiders say that Hyeri's contract is set to expire in early August, while Yura and Minah's contracts are set to expire in September. Neither Hyeri, Yura, nor Minah plan to renew with Dream T; all 4 members will be seeking new, acting management labels, if insider claims are true.
Girl's Day debuted back in 2010 with their 1st mini album 'Girl's Day Party #1', going on 9 years in 2019. While each of the 4 members may be seeking new opportunities with other management labels now, insiders say that the girls still share a very strong bond.
Do you think Girl's Day's group promotions will be possible with all 4 members under different managements?
oh no, i was hoping they'd release one more song before disbanding
