BTS has made a new record on Billboard's 'Social 50.'
According to Billboard on November 13, BTS has topped the 'Social 50' chart for a total of 100 weeks. This makes them the first group, not only in K-pop but in all genres, to record a triple-digit stay at the top.
In overall records, BTS is the second artist following Justin Bieber to have the longest No.1 on 'Social 50.' Justin Bieber is in the lead with 163 non-consecutive weeks at No.1.
The 'Social 50' chart "ranks the most popular artists on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Wikipedia, and Tumblr. The chart's methodology blends weekly additions of friends/fans/followers with artist page views and engagement," according to Billboard.
Meanwhile, BTS is currently in Japan for the continuation of the 'Love Yourself' world tour.
