One member of The East Light will be holding a press conference, where he plans to provide testimony of the verbal and physical abuse he and his groupmates suffered at Media Line Entertainment.
As previously reported, it's become public The East Light members were verbally abused by Media Line Entertainment CEO Kim Chang Hwan and physically abused by unnamed producer A, who allegedly slapped and hit the members with objects and put a guitar string around a member's neck. The label has released an official statement revealing they resolved the issue with the members and the members' parents a year and 4 months ago, and they further asserted there have no incidences of abuse since then. Producer A has also resigned from the agency after taking full responsibility.
However, The East Light's legal representative has stated one band member will be holding a press conference on October 19 to address the alleged abuse controversy. The group's lawyer stated, "Member B will personally attend the press conference to give his own testimony about the abuse. He'll also provide evidence and answer questions from the press."
